StayBrief for iPhone

Privacy Policy

Effective and last updated: 13 August 2026

StayBrief is developed and operated by Dzmitry Dziachenka. This policy explains what the StayBrief app processes, what stays on your iPhone, and what happens when you visit this website or choose to email support.

1. The short version

StayBrief has no account, advertising, analytics SDK, or developer-operated app backend. No StayBrief app data is sent to the developer. Your protected app selections, missions, sessions, and settings stay on your iPhone.

2. Information processed on your iPhone

To provide its features, StayBrief stores and processes locally:

This information is stored in StayBrief's app container and shared app container so the app and its Screen Time extensions can enforce the session you requested. It is not used to profile you, advertise to you, or compare you with anyone else.

3. Information the app does not collect

StayBrief does not send the developer your selected apps, Screen Time tokens, missions, session history, device identifiers, contacts, messages, searches, passwords, photos, or content from another app. It contains no third-party advertising, attribution, analytics, or crash-reporting SDK.

StayBrief cannot read what you type, view, post, or search inside a protected app. Apple's Screen Time APIs provide only the system capabilities needed to protect the apps you selected and measure the session behavior approved by the product.

4. Apple services

Purchases and Restore Purchases use Apple StoreKit. Apple processes purchase and account information under Apple's own terms and privacy policy; StayBrief receives only the transaction and entitlement status needed to unlock Pro. Apple may also receive diagnostics according to the analytics and diagnostics choices you make in iOS. The developer does not add a separate diagnostics service.

5. Permissions and your choices

6. Retention and deletion

Local history remains on your iPhone until you choose Delete all history in StayBrief Settings or delete StayBrief. Protection selections and related opaque tokens remain until you remove them, choose Turn off all protection, or delete StayBrief. Deleting the app removes its local containers from the device.

StayBrief has no server-side copy of app data and therefore has no remote app-data account to close or server record to delete.

7. This website and support email

These public Privacy and Support pages are delivered by Cloudflare Pages. Like other web infrastructure, Cloudflare may process standard request information such as an IP address, browser details, requested URL, and security events to deliver and protect the site. Cloudflare handles that information under its privacy policy. This site adds no JavaScript, analytics, advertising, tracking pixels, forms, or first-party cookies.

If you send a support email, you voluntarily provide your email address and whatever you write. The message is handled by the developer's email provider and is used only to answer, diagnose, and follow up on your support request. It is not sold or used for marketing. Support correspondence is kept only as long as reasonably needed to handle the request and related follow-up, then deleted when it is no longer needed. You may request earlier deletion by replying to the support email.

8. Changes to this policy

If StayBrief's data practices change, this page will be updated before the new practice ships, and the effective date above will change. A material change that requires a new permission or App Store disclosure will not be hidden in this page.
