StayBrief for iPhone
Support
The main recovery actions are built into StayBrief. If they do not resolve the problem, email the developer and include only the technical context needed to help.
Screen Time access or protection
Check access
Open StayBrief Settings and choose Fix protection. The app shows whether Screen Time access is unavailable or whether protection needs repair.
Return to a safe state
Choose Turn off all protection in StayBrief Settings if you need every selected app to open freely. This keeps your history and other settings.
Purchases
Use Restore purchases in StayBrief Settings after reinstalling, changing devices, or signing back into the App Store. Subscription management and cancellation are available in your App Store account. Everything listed as free in StayBrief remains usable without Pro.
Delete local data
Delete all history removes session history while leaving protection and settings alone. Turn off all protection removes StayBrief's protection configuration while keeping history. Deleting StayBrief removes all of its local app data from the iPhone.
What to include in an email
- StayBrief version and build, shown in Settings under About.
- Your iPhone model and iOS version.
- The short steps that led to the problem and what you expected instead.
- Whether Screen Time access, notifications, or a purchase was involved.
Do not include protected app names, mission text, session history, Screen Time tokens, passwords, purchase credentials, or screenshots containing personal information. StayBrief cannot read or send those details on its own.
Privacy
StayBrief has no account, app backend, advertising, or analytics. App choices and session records stay on the iPhone. Email is voluntary and is covered separately in the Privacy Policy.
